What's new in Wikka 1.1.6.4 ?
Released on ?? March 20081.1.6.4 is an interim release focusing on administration functionality and antispam tools, and includes a number of security and bug fixes.

New administration modules
- User administration module (accessible via the AdminUsers system page) to manage Wikka users.
- Page administration module (accessible via the AdminPages system page) to manage pages and perform several maintenance operations on wiki pages (including mass reversions).
New antispam functionality
- New config option to disable new user registrations.
- New reversion handler to allow rollback of page versions to previous versions.
- Module for mass user deletion (via the UserAdministration panel).
- A new lightweight user registration framework to facilitate creation of plug-in modules for registration validation schemes. Default install includes the URInviteCode module that requires new users to enter an invitation code. See UserRegistrationValidationFramework | for instructions on how to enable this and future UR modules.
Security enhancements
- System version information now hidden to all but admins.
- All Wikka releases (zipfiles and tarballs) are now WikkaSecurity distributed with digital signatures and checksums.
- More secure handling of file attachments.
New features and improved functionality
- A faster, fully redesigned Wikka editor (WikkaEdit) with more Wikka-specific functionality and improved cross-browser compatibility.
- Revision numbers are now displayed in recentchanges, revisions and page history.
- {{dbinfo}} A simple admin-only action to provide information about the structure of the database and tables used in Wikka.
- New {{wikkaconfig}} action displaying the system settings for the current wiki (accessible via the SysInfo page). Ticket: 669
- Improved {{highscores}} action, displaying top contributors ranked by pages owned, edits or comments. Tickets: 681, 688.

Installation notes
We strongly recommend users running previous versions of Wikka to upgrade or install a fresh package.Layout changes from the previous release
- The header and footer files can now be found in the /templates folder
- If your wiki uses a custom stylesheet, make sure you check out the differences between 1.1.6.3 and 1.1.6.4 so that your stylesheet includes all the new selectors and classes required by 1.1.6.4. (unified diff)
